....Altogether, making the camp happen involves a of people!

Maybe you would like to help...?

We have a particular need for workers in a number of areas.  In exchange for 16 – 20 hours of work during the camp you will receive a free ticket.  There may be some half tickets available if you prefer to offer less hours.

Creativity, children’s area, tweens & teens workers wanted!

We need a few dynamic creative people with lots of energy to be supported in creating a diverse range of activities!  As well as that we would especially like people with skills in the following areas- games- co-op games, wide games, stealth games, sports, martial arts such as aikido and capoeira,  construction (bottle rockets, kites, gliders), wood work (preferably someone who can bring tools) , storytellers,  a weaver who can bring own stand up loom and weave both simple and more intricate designs with adults and older children and work on a simple weaving with children, an experienced potter who has built simple earth kilns and is willing to work with both more complex shapes with adults and older children and simple work with smaller children and workers with skills in other crafts. We need Tweens workers who are willing to do hot chocolate in the evenings!

Karma Yoga Coordinator - Belinda has done a wonderful job with this role over the last few years and is getting ready to pass it on.   We would like to hear from you if you are interested in receiving a half ticket for assisting her this year with a view to taking this on fully next year.

Help! Young Teen Workers Needed! Is there anyone out there between the ages of 19 and 29 who would be willing to form an action team dedicated to providing stimulating activities and sometimes just a listening ear to the teens on the camp?  Such a group may decide to camp together and form their own camp circle – 19 – 29 is an age group not so well represented on the camp and it may be a chance for some of you who have stopped camping cos there was nothing for you to come back and create something! You will remember much better than us oldies what being a teenager on camp was like. You will have lots of ideas, you will probably be able to relate to teenagers well and you will have ENERGY!!!! Please let me know if you are interested – and if anyone reading this of a more mature age knows anyone who may like the idea please invite them to get in touch with me. Thanks! Café – the Medina café is a warm and bubbly place to enjoy camp life.  Being part of the team that makes that happen is rewarding and enjoyable.  In exchange for a free ticket and meals, you will need to be prepared to work every day, but when work is that much fun, who cares!!!!

Site crew needed- we need a crew of people who are prepared to work during the camp and possibly at the end, jobs include recycling, cleaning the compost loos and showers.

Lastly- but a very important job- Camp Conch Blower! Needs to be a good time keeper!

If you feel that you would like to contribute to the camp in any of these areas then contact us.
